Hi, since you have patrial medial patellofemoral ligament injury, you can recover it by exercise. The exercise programme for MPFL is similar to ACl injuyr rehab program. I highly advice you to follow exercise for ACL injury for at least a month to avoid surgery.

Thank you sir for your reply. But when I try to bend my knee I feel some clicking and popping in my knee joint. I am using immobilizer for past a month as recommended by a near orthopedic. Pls advice how can I stop this sound. Thanks

The clicking and popping sound is due to muscle weakness around the knee. Focus on knee press exercise which will help strengthen the knee muscles and this issue will go away.
